Vedic Astrology Symbolically Indicates a Period of Global Uncertainty, Says Dr. Jignesh Jani

Date:

Ahmedabad, July 10: Vedic astrology researcher Dr. Jignesh Jani has shared his observations on the evolving global geopolitical landscape, stating that the present planetary alignments are symbolically interpreted in traditional Vedic astrology as indicating a period of heightened international tension, economic uncertainty, and significant geopolitical transformation. According to Dr. Jani, the ongoing Mars–Rahu (Angarak Yoga) is traditionally associated with assertive energy, military activity, impulsive decision-making, strategic confrontations, and conflict, while the Saturn–Neptune alignment is interpreted by various astrological traditions as symbolizing uncertainty, institutional restructuring, ideological shifts, changing global power dynamics, and the emergence of a new international order. He further explained that Jupiter, regarded in Vedic astrology as the planet of wisdom, justice, ethics, and diplomacy, is considered by many practitioners to be a balancing influence that promotes dialogue, restraint, peaceful negotiations, and responsible leadership during periods of international tension. Dr. Jani observed that these planetary configurations are symbolically associated with heightened geopolitical tensions among major nations, strategic realignment of global alliances, economic volatility, disruptions in international trade, increased diplomatic engagement alongside military preparedness, and a period of profound global transformation affecting governments, financial markets, and international institutions. Referring to growing public concern over the possibility of military confrontation involving the United States, Iran, or Israel, he clarified that Vedic astrology should not be regarded as a scientifically established method of predicting specific geopolitical events, wars, or military outcomes. “Vedic astrology offers a symbolic framework for understanding collective cycles and human affairs. The present planetary alignments may be interpreted as reflecting a period of global transformation and important diplomatic choices. They should not be viewed as definitive predictions. The future depends on the decisions of governments, international institutions, and world leaders, whose actions will determine whether disputes escalate or are resolved through dialogue and diplomacy,” Dr. Jignesh Jani said. He further emphasized that geopolitical developments are influenced by a wide range of political, economic, military, technological, and diplomatic factors, and that astrological interpretations should be understood as complementary symbolic perspectives rather than evidence-based forecasts. Dr. Jani appealed for responsible public discourse, encouraging people to distinguish between traditional astrological beliefs and factual geopolitical analysis while supporting global efforts toward peace, stability, constructive international cooperation, and diplomatic solutions to emerging conflicts.
